1、 According to different classification methods, joint bearings are classified into the following categories based on the direction of load they can withstand or the nominal contact angle.  
1. Centripetal joint bearings - used to withstand radial loads, with nominal contact angles ranging from 0 degrees to 45 degrees. Depending on their nominal contact angles, they can be further divided into:;
a. Radial contact radial joint bearing - a radial joint bearing with a nominal contact angle of 0 degrees, suitable for bearing radial loads. But it can also withstand small axial loads while bearing radial loads.  
b. Angular contact radial joint bearing - a radial joint bearing with a nominal contact angle greater than 0 degrees but less than or equal to 45 degrees, capable of withstanding combined loads of radial and axial loads.  
2. Thrust joint bearings - used to withstand axial loads, with a nominal contact angle greater than 45 degrees to 90 degrees. Depending on the nominal contact angle, they can be divided into:;
a. Axial contact thrust joint bearing - a thrust joint bearing with a nominal contact angle of 90 degrees, suitable for bearing pure axial loads.  
b. Angular contact thrust joint bearing - a thrust joint bearing with a nominal contact angle greater than 45 degrees but less than 90 degrees, suitable for bearing axial loads but also capable of bearing combined loads (at this time, its radial load value shall not exceed 0.5 times the axial load).  
2、 Joint bearings are classified according to their outer ring structure:;
a. Integral outer ring joint bearing;  
b. Double half outer ring joint bearing;  
c. Single seam outer ring joint bearing;  
d. Double seam outer ring (split outer ring) joint bearing.  
IIISpherical Plain BearingDivided by whether it is attached to the pole end or installed on the pole end:;
a. General joint bearings;  
b. Rod end joint bearing.  
4、 Joint bearings are classified according to whether they require lubricant supplementation during operation:;
a. Non self-lubricating joint bearings;  
b. Self lubricating joint bearings.
